Can i bring someone into my session with me?.............

Our Therapy sessions are on an individual one to one basis, however if you require assistance in getting to and from your session, there is a waiting room where your companion can wait whilst you have your session. 

Will anyone know that i've come to see you?..................

Here at Maximinding we respect your right to access our services in the strictest of confidence and are therefore committed to maintaining your confidentiality. However in our efforts to be honest, open and transparent, there are times when we will need to breach confidentiality under certain legal obligations which will be discussed in more detail once you commence with our services. Every effort will be made to discuss any breaches with you in person prior, so you are aware. 

Who's your Regulatory Counselling Body?

We are qualified Psychotheraputic Counsellors, who are registered members of the National Counselling Society (NCS). They are overseen by the Professional Standards Authority and impose a strict Code of Ethics to all members of which we fully adhere.

What happens if you can't help me?

It's both imperative and ethical that we work within our skills and areas of knowledge. In the event that you require support outside of our remit, we will look to signpost you to a more appropriately trained organisation or individual.
